score! chick magnet

So excited I got to see my cousins Luke and Joseph score touchdowns at their flag football game this weekend. (Go Silver Wolves!) And I made some nice new friends on the sidelines. I’m not bragging, but these cuties just couldn’t get enough of me. (The feeling was definitely mutual.)

Proud! Proud! Proud! Luke and Joseph!

MY American Idol

I am amazed by all of the talented dogs and cats out there, like this poodle singing and playing piano. I haven’t found my hidden talents yet. But I am mastering the basics (potty training, high-fives, sitting, coming when called… if there is a treat involved). And I’ve been using my toys to squeak out a song since I saw beat boxing on TV. Gotta work with what you’ve got!

My so-called dog’s life

it's me Cooper!

Greetings! If you never thought you’d be reading the ramblings of a puppy, well, I never thought I’d be writing them either. First, I’d like to introduce myself, I’m Cooper, a nine pound shih tzu/teacup poodle mix who is making my way in the world, thanks to the fine folks at Wright-Way shelter who rescued me when I was smaller than a Coke can. And to my parents Tony and Linda who have been spoiling me since the day they adopted me – August 26, 2010.

My life is an open book, or blog as the case may be. It’s not easy to express myself (other than barking which gets kinda old). But with my mom’s help, I’ll do my best to share my thoughts and exploits here on a regular basis. I’m hoping that hearing from me will be amusing and even enlightening. Let me know what you think, I appreciate your comments, questions and lots of puppy love.
